Based around an on-site pre-event Course Survey conducted this morning (24 April), along with the predicted weather arriving over the next 24 hours, the Total Sport Course Crew have identified that current and forecasted marine weather conditions are above SAFE operating parameters, and have made the unfortunate decision to postpone the Coastal Challenge event, scheduled for Sat 25 April.

The result of the weather has seen extreme swells from the north-east already develop along the course (predicted to worsen over the next 24 hours in line with a strong wind advisory for the area), and we are not prepared to put event participants at risk. We have made the decision to postpone the event until Sat 9 May .

We are working through the impact of what this means to you, the participants. At this point, we will transfer your entry into the event on Sat 9 May, and hope you can join us. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
